Peter Stieda
B.Sc., LL.L., LL.B. Based in Ottawa, Peter has been practicing in the areas of family law, child protection law, and immigration law since 2004. He also acts as legal counsel in the areas of mental health and disability law. He regularly appears before various courts, boards and tribunals in Ottawa and the surrounding areas, as well as in Montreal. He completed two law degrees (Common Law and Civil Law) at the University of Ottawa, and a B.Sc. from the Université de Montréal. Mr. Stieda provides full legal services in both official languages. Peter's past professional experience includes working as legal advisor at the Parliament of Canada. He has also worked in Osaka, Japan, and participated in an international exchange program in Ecuador. Outside of his busy legal practice, Mr. Stieda is actively involved in sports. He has completed several marathons in both Canada and the USA, and enjoys trekking in such locations as the Himalayas, the Japanese Alps, as well as throughout Canada and the United States. |
